Gemaakt voor Louis die zoals vele kleine kereltejes gefascineerd is door tractoren het derde woordje dat hij kon zeggen was dan ook papa. ~ Made for Louis who is fascinated by tractors. So of course the third word he could say was "dad"

I found this yesterday and couldn't stop listening to it since then.

So it seems I survived my first surgery. The doctor was very nice and I didn't feel anything - or at least it didn't hurt - but the noises were very strange when he tried to get my tooth out - so it was ok. I was so scared... I have 3 more to go, but at least now I know what to expect. But I still don't know what's going to come when the effect of the anaesthitic ceases...

I read that he was 18 when the caravan he travelled with caught fire, and a large part of his skin was damaged including two fingers on his left hand. Doctors wanted to amputate one of his legs but he refused to undertake the operation and left. A year later he was able to walk and at the same time he figured out a completely new technique to play the guitar. Because of his two paralysed fingers he played all his solos with two fingers and used the other two only when playing chords. Wow. Now listen to the music.

I can't beleive I'm already at home. Normally it's seven, but today my Joyce seminar was cancelled. It's only been a month since school started and I'm already dead... But, I handed in my project proposal for my contemporary literature class, and it's going to be Zadie Smith! Exciting :) Except that it means one more book, or 550 pages on my reading list.
The other thing is, that the organization of the wedding has speeded up a bit recently, which also takes up a lot of time. But of course I don't mind. :D When I have some free time then I have to run here and there to arrange things, and actually tomorrow I'm going to a place to try some dresses on! Can't wait!

Úgy tűnik július már nincs is olyan messze. Elkezdtük a szervezést, és bár még mindig nincs sok minden lefixálva, már egyre közelebb vagyunk a biztos helyszínhez. Tegnap voltunk megnézni egy helyet, és reméljük hogy itt is lesz, mert nagyon tetszik. Valami ilyesmit képzeltünk el, mint ami a képen is van.

És igen! Leadtam kedden a német beadandómat, a szakdolgozatomat tegnap, ma pedig a német szemináriumi dolgozatot. Még egy Erörterung és szabad ember leszek! Persze csak a prezentáció, a német irodalom vizsga, és a záróvizsga után. De azért jó, hogy most már zajlanak az események. Látszik a fény az alagút végén.
